Yinghua Academy Board of Directors

Yinghua Academy, independent school district 4140 is a charter school run by a board of directors.  Board members can be teachers, parents or currently enrolled students, or community members who subscribe to the mission and vision of Yinghua Academy.

Board members meet monthly or more to discuss the agenda prepared by the Board Chair.  The board role is to set policy and initiate long term strategic planning.  Call the school or check the website for meetings schedule.

All are welcome at meetings, though prior notification is necessary to put an item on the agenda.  Board members agree to set aside personal agendas and act in good faith according to the mission of the school in making decisions.  Board meeting dates, agendas and minutes are placed on the Yinghua Academy website and posted at the school when they become available.  An annual meeting will be help each June, and will include the election of new board members.  Please check the website for a list of current Board Members.
