Volunteering at Yinghua Academy Yinghua Academy greatly appreciates and needs volunteer support. Volunteers should be willing and excited to help all of Yinghua's children. We look forward to partnering with you to build a stronger Yinghua Community!Background Check:School policy and state law require each volunteer to have a background check completed through the school. State Law does not allow public schools to pay for these background checks. Therefore, each individual must pay $15 for the background check. These forms are available in the school office, or by clicking -->here Processing of these forms takes approximately one week. Recess and Lunch Patrols: We need helpers Monday - Friday from 11:20am – 1:30pm. You can volunteer for just one day, or every day! If you are interested, please contact volunteer@yinghuaacademy.org. Earn Money for the School:We are collecting General Mills box tops, Kemps milk caps, Land-o-Lakes milk caps and Campbell’s Soup labels (and other Campbell’s products). The drop off station is located in the Front Office area. Money collected from the participating companies will be used to purchase playground equipment such as balls and jump-ropes. Other Volunteer Opportunities are plentiful! We are currently looking for volunteers to help enter books into the library and help the teachers with projects. Chinese speaking volunteers are especially needed. This type of volunteer work can be done almost anytime during the school day.
