The Yinghua community is invited to attend the next Yinghua University session on Wednesday, December 11, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This interactive session will be led by author and educator Dave Edwards, and will equip all families with the language and tools needed to support LGBTQ+ youth at our school. It will cover basic definitions, provide age-appropriate resources for discussing gender identity and sexual orientation at home, and offer insight in responding to challenging questions. Families will also learn ways to visibly affirm and celebrate LGBTQ+ community members. Free childcare will be available for Yinghua students.
