Get Ready for Give to the Max Day!

We’re thrilled to kick off the countdown to Give to the Max Day 2024! Yinghua Academy, the #1 charter school in Minnesota, is aiming to raise $40,000 at GTMD to bring essential social-emotional resources and much-needed teacher support to our school. This year’s campaign includes a special partnership with the Cook Center for Human Connection, offering resources and programs for mental health and well-being that will benefit our entire school community—students, families, and staff.

Join us and help us reach our goal to make a lasting impact! Early giving starts today and every donation brings us closer to a healthier, happier school community. Let’s show what Yinghua can do together!

Here are some instructions for how to create a personal Give To The Max fundraiser to support Yinghua Academy:

1. Go to https://www.givemn.org/organization/Yinghua
2. Click the “Fundraise” button.
3. You will be given an option to Log In or Sign Up. If you have used the GiveMN platform before, log in with your email. If not, sign up for a new account.
4. A pop-up window will appear that says “Create A Fundraiser”. Click “Get Started”.
5. A question will appear “Where Will The Funds Go?”. Search for “Yinghua Academy” and click “Continue”.
6. Click “Build your fundraiser”.
7. At this point, you will have a fundraising page. Edit each element the way that you would like it to look.
   1. Click on the pencil to the right of “Fundraiser Title” to name your fundraiser. For example: “Corey’s Yinghua Fundraiser”. 
   2. Click the “Featured Media” button to add an image. It can be any image that you download to your computer.
   3. Click the “Summary” button and write a tagline for your fundraiser. Here is a sample idea that you could use or create your own: “Empowering students for a global future—support Yinghua Academy’s mission today!”
   4. Click “Goal” to set a goal.
   5. Click “Duration” and select an end date.
   6. Under “Story” write a description of the fundraiser. Here is some sample text that you can use, but you might want to personalize it (I work here; My child attends here, etc.) –  “Support Yinghua Academy’s Mission! I’m excited to support Yinghua Academy, Minnesota’s top-ranked charter school, in raising funds for essential programs that benefit our students, families, and staff. Your donation will help provide social-emotional learning resources, enhance classroom experiences, and strengthen our students’ well-being. Please join me in supporting Yinghua’s mission to cultivate compassionate, globally minded citizens. Every gift, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for helping Yinghua thrive!” – Click “Save”
   7. At the top of the page, click “Publish” and your page will be live. Click the back arrow and you can copy the link and send it out via email or on your social media pages.
