8th Grade – Beyond Yinghua
Alumni Association
Vision: Our vision is to build a vibrant alumni community that supports one another in personal, academic, and professional growth while giving back to Yinghua Academy through mentorship, volunteerism, and philanthropy. Together, we will strengthen the bonds between generations of alumni and inspire continued involvement in the promotion of bilingual education and global citizenship.
Mission: The Yinghua Academy Alumni Association fosters a lifelong connection among alumni, current students, and the school community. By focusing on networking, mentorship, cultural enrichment, and school support, we aim to empower alumni to stay engaged with Yinghua’s mission and continue their journey as global citizens.
Registration for this year’s alumni reunion opens soon! Contact Devin Nelson for more information about the Alumni Association or this event.

Mandarin is a widely spoken language across the world and has been designated a “critical language” by the US government. A number of programs exist to provide scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students studying Mandarin, both in the U.S. and in China.
Below is a list of such programs, compiled as a resource for our K-8 families and alumni, as they consider how to integrate Mandarin into their lives and possibly their career.
If you know of other programs, please send them to info@yinghuaacademy.org to be considered for inclusion on this list.
