Storybook Character Parade on October 30!

Posted on by Claire Little

Yinghua’s annual celebration of literacy and the end of National Book Month is the Storybook Character Parade which will be held at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30. The Storybook Character Parade gives students and staff the opportunity to dress up as their favorite character from a book and bring the book with them to school to carry during the parade. Costumes should be able to be worn on top of the school uniform. While we understand that some characters in books traditionally are seen with props, costumes may not include weapons, or inappropriate language or content.

Please be sure to read the letter and parade route map for more details.
