What is Open Enrollment? During Open Enrollment, Minnesota students have access to district public schools not within their residential districts and to charter public schools throughout the state. Yinghua families, served by 9 bus routes, come from more than 75 ZIP Codes.
Applications are accepted year-round though the best time to apply for the 2025-2026 school year is before Thursday, February 13, at 5 p.m. when Yinghua Open Enrollment closes.
- To apply: Submit a paper or online application. Children who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible for kindergarten at Yinghua.
